Pragma Has Been Granted Two New Cyber Licences From The Cyber Security Agency (CSA) Of Singapore
September 19, 2022
We are pleased to announce that Pragma has been granted two new licences from the Cyber Security Agency (CSA) of Singapore.
Pragma is among the first firms to be granted these new licences, which the CSA created as regulation to improve the standards of service providers. It is a noteworthy vote of confidence to be recognized as meeting standards that the CSA has aspirationally set for the future of cybersecurity practice in Singapore.
Both founders were pleased to be acknowledged by the CSA for Pragma's work.
Founder Geoff Leeming commented, “We are grateful to the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore for recognising the work we have done to protect our client's online security by granting us one of the first operating licences in Singapore. We hope this licensing scheme will help improve the quality and service that all cyber firms in Singapore offer to their clients.”
In his response to the newly granted CSA licences, founder Manish Chawda responded, “We are delighted to be granted the two licences for Cyber from the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, a testament to the amazing team we have.”
The two CSA licences granted, the Managed Security Operations Centre (SOC) Monitoring Service Licence and the Penetration Testing Service Licence, are part of a new framework launched on 11 April 2022 “to better safeguard consumer interests and to improve the information asymmetry between consumers and cyber security providers”.
These CSA granted licences reflect Pragma's robust commitment to maintaining a world-class standard of excellence when it comes to protecting the online security of clients. This commitment was likewise shown through last year's CREST accreditation, which certified Pragma to provide Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, and Incident Response in Europe, Asia and Australia.
The team effort and commitment to exceptional service that is prerequisite to earning and maintaining these licences and certifications has not gone unnoticed by clients. Proof of this is the Financial Times' inclusion of Pragma on its recent ranking of Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies of 2022.
Being recognized for our serious commitment to our clients' online security, and seeing the result of this commitment in our company's growth, motivates our team to maintain best practice, strive for improvement and work even harder to meet the needs of our current and future clients.
